Wer ist „ICH“? Wer ist „WELT“?
Diese Frage stellt sich der Künstler Christoph Hildebrand mit seiner neuen großen Installation für den Kubus. Blau leuchtende Neon-Zeichen und schwebende Alltagsgegenständen füllen fast den gesamten Raum. Jedes Zeichen blinkt, die Objekte kreisen um sich selbst, alles ist in Bewegung. Zusammen bilden sie einen Globus von fünf Metern Durchmesser. Oder ist es ein Kopf voller Gedanken?
Die Installation bleibt in der Schwebe. Für Christoph Hildebrand ist das Werk zugleich ein Kaleidoskop der eigenen Identität und ein Bild für die Komplexität des globalisierten Lebens im digitalen Zeitalter samt ihren unausweichlichen Kompromissen und Widersprüchen.

Who is „ME“? Who is „WORLD“?
This is the question posed by artist Christoph Hildebrand in his new large installation for the Kubus. Blue glowing neon signs and floating everyday objects fill almost the entire space. Each sign flashes, the objects circle around themselves, everything is in motion. Together they form a globe five metres in diameter. Or is it a head full of thoughts?
The installation remains in limbo. For Christoph Hildebrand, the work is both a kaleidoscope of his own identity and an image for the complexity of globalised life in the digital age, together with its inevitable compromises and contradictions.
