In FACE bilden etwa 50 Zeichen, die auf verschiedenste soziale, politische, religiöse, wissenschaftliche und ökonomische Werte verweisen, die Mosaiksteine, aus denen sich ein grob gepixeltes Gesicht zusammensetzt. Alle Piktogramme sind einzeln mittels LEDs illuminiert und dimmen mit verschiedenen Perioden langsamer oder schneller auf und ab. Die Animation erzeugt unablässig immer neue Konstellationen aus Zeichen und Bedeutungen ohne sich zu wiederholen.

In FACE, about 50 signs that refer to a wide variety of social, political, religious, scientific and economic values form the mosaic stones that make up a roughly pixelated face. All the pictograms are individually illuminated by LEDs and dim up and down at different periods, slower or faster. The animation constantly creates new constellations of signs and meanings without repeating itself.
